Why Social Media + Storytelling?
Coming from Afghan descent, where women are not given the right to use their voices, I’ve always been driven by the power of storytelling to amplify those who are underrepresented. I chose social media for its global reach, allowing me to bring attention to stories and perspectives that are often overlooked. Through my content, I aim to give voice to those who aren’t seen or heard, using my work to make a meaningful impact.
Education + Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Film, Media, and Social Justice from Mount Saint Mary’s University, along with certifications in Digital Marketing from UNLV and Gender Media Studies from The Representation Project.
